We’re Free Range Wine & Spirits, a specialty wine and spirits shop in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. Our goal is simple: keep a “tiny wine universe” that feels just as welcoming for the new-to-wine shopper as it does for the total bottle nerd.

Our shelves are built for range—everything from inexpensive everyday wine to rare, cellar-worthy bottles, plus a deep spirits lineup with an extensive whiskey selection from around the world. We also put extra love into showcasing Brooklyn producers and our closest domestic neighbors.

We’re owned and operated by Jack Chester (rock critic turned wine blogger), and we keep things lively with free tastings and a weekly email that highlights sales and what we’re excited about right now.
